Bill Todd has been involved in Ceramics for nearly 45 years at first as a hobby and later as a full time Potter. The business at Sedgefield was started in 1982.
Electrical background begins with serving an apprenticeship followed by college education and a qualification in electrical engineering, working in Industry.
So a background in electrical followed by an interest in ceramics quickly lead to requests for kiln repairs over the last 20 years or more. So much so that now kiln servicing and repairs are carried out in many Universities, Art colleges, Schools and private customers gaining a reputation in depth of knowledge of electrical problems and brickwork repairs. Commercial insurance covers this work.
We have a well stocked shop in Sedgefield with a wide range of pottery supplies and pottery equipment including Clay, Glazes, Underglazes, Kilns, Wheels and other workshop equipment. Customers are more than welcome to visit our shop which is usually open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am until 5pm and we are open other days from time to time. We always suggest our customers call beforehand.
